Waveheavy asked a question re: Publishing that sparked a Question For Me about Meta Data and Direct to Supervisor
topic138423.html

[qoute="cassmcentee"]That brings up a great Meta Data Question
Hadn't thought about it before...

When do we add our Publishing Info/# in the Meta Data?
When submitting to "Straight to Supervisor" Listings?
Or do you do that after contacted by the Supervisor?[/qoute]
AmandaJane wrote:Great question Cass - hadn't thought of that. Although in my case the email and name is the same (as is my PRO# etc).
Thanks Amanda!
That would simplify things... (in my case I have a publishing Co. Name with a separate number)
Brings up another question, If the tune has the possibility to be used once forwarded, at what time do we complete the "I own 100% Publishing" of the tune with our Pro???
Hmmmm....

My opinion is you don't have to worry about your publishing info being in the metadata for an mp3 you submit to a direct-to-sup listing. If you get contacted, you can provide all the relevant information.

What is most important is to have your contact info in your metadata (name, email address, phone #). That way if somehow the mp3 gets separated from any documentation, the client will still know how to contact you.
