Discovery to buy Scripps: will we get royalties now?

Hopefully composers will finally see royalties from all of the Scripps shows. Maybe not retroactively, but going forward.

Um, the lawsuit was settled, last year. The acquisition may delay forthcoming royalty payments, though.

What was the result of the lawsuit ?
I had a recent placement on HGTV and assumed it doesn't pay royalties.

Be great if my assumption is wrong
