In addition, I've found that talking about your mutual expectations is helpful, and put some of that in the notes. Like if you expect to split demo expenses, or split the recording work between you (who does what), and if you agree upon both are free to pitch the work if you notify each other about it. Business practicalities mostly, but good to be on the same page about.
