Question about drone cues

I submitted to the recent request for the dark drone cue and while creating the track, I debated between adding a short fade out/in about 30 seconds in to provide an edit point (I keep hearing that the less work for a music supervisor, the more valuable your track) but then I thought, 'what if that breaks up the continuity and momentum of the piece and I wind up potentially making the cue less attractive as a result?' An editor can always add the fade out/in if they need the piece to be more flexible but I imagine it's much harder to remove a fade out/in.

Are drone cues an exception to the rule of providing a good edit point(s)?

I don’t add any edit points unless requested.

I submitted to for this cue also, but I left a few gaps throughout just in case...and no fade. Haven't heard anything back yet. Don't know what is best.

I've had many drone cues forwarded and signed, most of them have natural edit points or downbeats but I've never purposefully tried to enter an edit point for them.
