HI,

every time I want to check the Taxi forwards blog, Safari refuses to open it due to safety reasons. Same with Firefox btw. (Phishing warnings etc.)

erm.....do you also have these issues and how do you handle them?

it appears they are using the http:// protocol rather than the now current https:// protocol, that's whats leading to your error messages. I use Chrome as my primary browser, have to "allow" it to visit sites that are "not secure" - there should be a similar option in Safari and Firefox.

hope that helps, but its getting to be past time for them to update their site, as not only are they using an outdated protocol, they are also depending on Flash player which is being phased out (Chrome won't allow its use after next year)

Indeed - The Community Forums is a VERY public site. I'm surprised how many folks post their phone numbers and email addresses; where sending those only by PM, to the intended party/parties, seems to be the wiser choice.

Even the option to login to this site, where it reads "hide..." is NOT hidden.
The tool bar at the bottom shows who is browsing, regardless of how you login.

Not to be a meanie, but Taxi may need to hire an IT security group to update its website and infrastructure.

I think Michael mentioned on the show a couple of weeks back that they are in the process of overhauling things. Not sure it was the entire website, or just the submission parts of it.
