The ride cymbal on the first track is awful....extremely distracting.
the 2nd track is stiff sounding but not too bad.
The 3rd track is pretty good.
The 3rd track again has the awful ride cymbal...and all the snare hits are the same velocity...the ghost notes are way too loud!!!

The ride cymbal may or may not be a prob depending on the mix it is sitting in - so hard to judge on that but can hear the concern.

I think the examples are pretty decent.

My comment would be the solo drum examples are very busy - sparse groove is the hardest thing to pull off with virtual drums.
The hardest would be jazz ballad vibe with brushes - but anything where you can't barrel along.

But - this can only be judged by hearing it in action and if before and after results can be posted here.

I wouldn't out source drums as it is a key element creating a track to me that I enjoy creating as much as any other.


But can see the use of a service like this as when I started with virtual drums it took time to get skilled with them
