Direct to Music Supervisor Question

Hello,

I woke up this morning to learn that a song of mine has been or will be forwarded directly to a music supervisor.

I only have experience working with libraries, and I would not know what to expect if the --why not think positively?-- music supervisor should contact me to license the track.

Should I have my own agreement to offer? Will they have their own?

Thanks,
Bob

Congrats Bob!!
I have not had any experience with a Music Supervisor but from what I understand (from a book I'm reading - Thinking In Sync by Amanda Thomas) they would have a contract they use

Thanks, Dave.

I read that book a couple of years ago, and I don't remember it all that well. I think I need to reread it!

Most likely if a supervisor wants to license your song, they will send you their agreement (Master/Sync agreement). Sit back, write more, submit more. Write, Submit, Forget, Repeat. ;)
