Song split sheet, Canadian and American

Can someone share a blank split sheet template, which can be used to share money with a Canadian singer?

I am in California, and the singer is in BC, Canada

I am the songwriter and producer, and own the master recordings.

I want something in writing to show how I will split song placement and similar income with the singer.

There's no writing/publishing involved in this, because she is only a performer.

She is *not* being paid on a Work for Hire basis, only money from the split.

thanks!

Best thing to do is keep it simple, make her a full co-writer on both master and composition. 50/50 is the professional way. Then whenever the song is registered, she will automatically get BACK END (PRO) share. As far as FRONT END sync, if the song is in a library, some libraries will split that payment for you, others will pay one party who has to pay the share to the other.

As far as a co-writing agreement template, if you drop me a PM with your email I can send you one. That will document your agreement on splits and more.

Thanks for the reply Casey, I'll send you my email

To be clear, she had zero part in the writing or arranging.

In this case, the song was written a couple years ago, released with a different singer and performers.

The only contribution from her on the new recording is her vocals.

Are you suggesting splitting the composition ownership because the front end money would be low dollars?

Ah, I see that it was released with another singer before. We'll talk more offline about it. Emailed you. :D It sounds like it's more like a WFH with a token fee ($1) and a stipulation as to you paying her a percentage from any earnings. But we'll chat about it.
