non exclusive sync placement

So I have a company that wants some of my tunes as non exclusive. My question is, if I sing some tunes with them and then another company wants to sign the same tunes exclusively how does that work? Do I have to remove them from the non-exclusive company?

Yes, if a company asks you to sign your non-exclusive tunes exclusively with them, you have to remove those tunes from all the non-exclusive catalogues you put them in
