Request for advice when a library asks for more tracks

Hey everyone,
A library contacted me to sign a sci-fi trailer track they heard through TAXI - hurray!
They also listened to some other tracks I subsequently sent them and asked if I could write 4 more tracks for an album in a specific style (orchestral/uplifting). They sent me a sample contract and it's the usual 50/50 (writer/publisher). They also explained that they don't offer any upfront fee as they are a small company.
How is this usually done, shall I sign anything before I do the additional 4 tracks, some sort of contract for the album?
Thanks for any advice!

In my experience you normally sign a Composer Agreement first that lays everything out so they can onboard you, and then as you send them more music you will get a Schedule A that lists the tracks.

Thanks for the replies!
They've now asked me for two albums, so things are looking good. Haven't signed anything yet so I'm going to do the first album and see where it goes.

Hey Hubert,
Congratulations on the library wanting two albums from you. Sounds pretty standard to me as far as splits, plus you will have a bunch of music in this library with hopefully a lot more opportunities to get some great placements. Also, if for some reason the library doesn’t want any of them, you might be able to sign them with someone else. Good stuff.
Again, congratulations, I hope you develope a great relationship with this new library.
