Keeping Signed Tracks in Disco?

So I think I know the answer to this, but just wanted to check--Tracks that have been signed to a library can stay in my Disco playlists, yes? They are obviously not downloadable, just streamable. The library didn't say anything about it one way or the other. These tracks aren't anywhere else (Spotify, social media, etc), but I'd like them to stay up and streamable as an example of my work.

Just wanted to see if anyone had experience with libraries asking for music to disappear entirely once they've signed it.

TIA!

Geoff

Some exclusive libraries do not want songs they sign publicly streamable anywhere. However, this varies from library to library, so you have to ask them. I'm with some exclusive libraries that only care about sync related usage (e.g. in relation to video) so all else is fine.

However, the good thing about Disco is it's completely private (unlike Soundcloud and others which show up in internet searches) so no one can see your tracks unless you send them a link. There is no problem keeping these tracks on Disco, it comes down to not sharing the link unless it's clearly labeled as signed by that publisher. You should still, however, verify what I just said with the particular library. Most would be fine as long as they are credited as the publisher.

Thanks Casey. The library didn't put anything in their guidelines about this, and I was hoping not to have to bother them with it, but it seems best that I just ask them :)
