Anybody have experience dealing with sheet music publishers such as Hal Leonard? I have written a bunch of pieces that would be suited for school bands and orchestras, but I don't have any idea whether or not they take unsolicited material, or how to ask without looking like a complete noob. (Which I am; I just don't want to LOOK like one.)

Finally got re-registered on the new boards; I'll be jumping back in with new music as soon as we get my studio set back up - in the middle of a remodel right now.
