Hi All,
i joined taxi in Dec and got a forward in Jan.I was contacted this week from a library wanting me to sign a non exclusive deal however when they asked for more tracks i told them i only had one in that genre but could make more. They also said that all types of music is okay but i should wait until i have a larger collection of songs.I have more songs just not matching the listing advertised and being my first time dealing with this i didn't communicate my position well.i could have 15 pieces done by the end of this week as they prefer instrumentals which makes things easier and i have the songs in a semi finished state. If anyone could give me some advice on how to proceed i would very much appreciate it.

Dave

Hi Dave,
Congrats on the deal offer!
This is what I would do. Contact them monday morning and tell them you would like to send the 15 other tracks by the end of the week. Also, ask them what format they would prefer (such as a CD by mail, AIFs/WAV/mp3 by email, etc). Just make sure those 15 instrumentals are at least as good as the forwarded track. Good luck!

Congrats!
Yes, as Jeff mentioned, ask them what format they need, and if they want a version with no lead and maybe ask if they want 30 and 60 sec edits as well.
