CDBaby just announced a partnership with Limelight to offer licensing of any song for just $15 plus mechanicals (about $.10 per unit). Pretty cheap lifetime license.

I hear Google (YouTube) is cutting a deal with Harry Fox; maybe we'll start to see some income from all those YouTube covers, heh. (not holding my breath) ;)

Hmm, I heard about CD Baby, but not the Google/ Harry Fox deal. Thanks for the update, Mojo. !!

I'm curious how the CD Baby thing will affect Harry Fox?? Fascinating!

Thanks for the post. I just noticed Limelight on CDBaby as well and wondering what the benefits are to Limelight verses Harry Fox directly? More paperwork with HFA where Limelight takes care of all that for you, is that the idea?
