I'm thinking it may just be a way to use other folks creative ideas without compensating them monetarily in any way? Not sure just lookin for advice.

Has anyone ever dealt with this music site? You can submit ideas for other artists(major artists) songs and maybe have them used on an album or project. Does anyone have any thoughts on this type of thing? Is it really just stealing?

I think it's a very interesting concept. How fair it is to the submitter depends on which featured artist you submit to. for example, some are just looking for somebody to play a role in their video and they will fly the winner to CA to shoot it. They aren't going to pay the winner, but it's a chance for a little exposure to somebody who has none. So, both parties get what they want. I saw one listing that just said you get the chance to have your input used on the final mix of their record, plus free skull candy headphones. They probably wouldn't pay beyond that, but if they list you in the credits it may still be worth it if you don't already have creds.

Try it and let us know what you think. good luck!

Yeah I'm thinkin about tryin it. Exposure is really good , it seems almost like it's a contest of sorts more than anything else. An person would probably have to work really hard to parlay it into anything lucrative. Taxi seems much more of a lucrative return if you get chosen y'know?
