What are your goals?

Have you set your goals for 2012? I'm not talking about your "to do" list. I'm talking about what you want to be/have by the end of 2012.
If you'd like support on writing powerful, inspiring goals that get results, post them here. I'll check back and give you feedback.
Your Coach,
Debra
Edit:
Since we're heading into the last quarter of 2012, I decided to change the Subject so we can continue this thread!

I want to have a list of what I want to have by the end of 2013.

Wow Casey - it's gonna take you a year to develop that list?

I hope to get closer to the things I really, really want.
Like feeling more peaceful, a sense of security and being more content with life.

I'm going to do it very carefully.

My 2012 Resolutions
To lose the weight/eat responsibly and exercise
To meditate every morning
To write/record every day
To not see myself as damaged

Feedback:
Never use the words "I hope" in your goal statement. That's basically saying - this isn't a goal, it's a fantasy. Use clear, powerful, specific and direct language.
Goals need to be Positive (i.e. what you will have not what you won't have) specific and measurable. "More" is both vague and inherently focused on a lack of something (if you want more, you currently have less).
Suggestion:
Ask yourself - what specifically will I have or be that will give me the feeling I want to create? And then put that in "goaleze"

Goal 1 and 4 are about the problem. What will you have/be when that is no longer a problem?
For example:
A lifestyle that supports my strong, healthy 175 lb physique by January 1, 2013
With the 4th goal - How will you see yourself? And make it specific and measurable.
Goal 2 and 3 are "doing" not "having/being"
Ask yourself - if I meditate every morning what will that give me?
These also sound like time management issues. So, set a goal around your time management skill.

Wow, that's great feedback, Debra! I have work to do. I have no clue what will get me there, I don't trust my own choices anymore. Uh, and I realize that's a self sustaining negative. I have sooo much work to do!!!

I'm Game....
I looked at my songs in 2011 and realized the biggest thing I could do to improve my songs, is improve my voice, my voice seemed to be the weakest link ....
I spent 2011 studying and developing my vocal skills, and working on improving my recording equipment...and not doing much songwriting...
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
My goals for 2012 are...
To write one song a month directed at a particular Taxi listing.... 12 songs in total
To write one song a month totally upon my muse.... 12 more songs total....
and the last thing is try and be more appreciative to my very supportive wife...
