I found this this morning and listened to a couple videos on recording acoustic etc.
I like the dude and learned a ton already.
Most likely this site is not for those who already have great skills.
Great for people like me who don't know what they are doing and want to learn.

Thanks for sharing Paul. Is a great site, I learnt a lot!
I enjoying reading "Mastering Pro Tools Effects" it gives good scientific explainations in simple language on as to what comp, eq etc does which makes it easier for me to balance ears and brain into trying to produce a good mix : )

Another site along those lines that you might enjoy is:
therecordingrevolution.com
I've purchased some of his tutorials, and they are excellent. He (Graham Cochrane) also works with the guy from homestudiocorner.com (Joe Gilder).
Both are very good for us folks who are just getting going with our home studios.
Good luck!

thanks everyone. don't forget Berklee's free audio production class through coursera.com (.org?) Class 2 started yesterday. I will post a link if someone needs but should be found with a google search.
AND: (there are probably thousands more of these, but...)
homerecording.com
tweakheadz.com about how to use effects/gear
puremix.net (not free)
Has anyone tried Studio Buddy which is a free taxi download? I downloaded it but either didn't really figure out how to use it, or it didn't seem very helpful.
