Any guitarist out there using this effect pedal board?

I don't know the pedal but it sounds interesting, I'll be watching to see if you get any responses.

As a young teen my 1st real guitar amp was a beat-up 60's era Vox. It had an electrical problem - it would burn through tubes kind of fast, and sometimes give me a nasty shock for no particular reason (yeah, but I got it cheap). It may have been an AC30, I'm not really sure. When it worked, that Vox had better tones than any amp I've ever had. I had to trade it in when we started a band, it wasn't reliable enough.

I would rank it below Boss GT-10, Line 6 Pod HD and Rocktron Utopia.
And steps up from those would be Avid Eleven Rack, Kemper Profiling Amp and Axe FX II.

Maybe on par with Line 6 M5/M9, depending on what you are looking for.
Personally, I'd move on.

Thanks Kolstad, hard for a pedal to live up to a Vox amp I suppose. I thought it might be something since it seems to have a tube in there.

I have a Line 6 Pod too, I like it on some settings but generally don't use it much anymore. The amp simulation plug-ins are working OK for me.

I guess it depends on what it's for. As an fx unit for piano or an amp, it might be sufficient. Tone is so subjective, so I might come off as too judgemental, but when chasing great gtr tone I tend to be very selective. There's really nothing wrong with that box, so don't take my word for it. You really can't rely on others opinion on these things. It's all in your own ears, imo. Orest might even use it for piano, and I haven't tried that. But I stick with my ranking above.

I love Ac30s too, JD. That bright, crisp, slightly dirty tone is fab!

I am more into the Line 6 Amplifi FX100 now

I've used it, Boss and DIgitech in gigging situations. I thought it was as good as any of the others. A friend uses it for all his recorded guitar work and it sounds great. CAnt recall if you said it was strictly for recording, but if you can I would just as soon go with software, easier to tweak things afterwards. For recording I always use a sim these days, Amplitube, have guitar rig but haven't played with it much. If you want the all in one solution (for recording, gigging), any of those would work. For gigging, I found I don't use that much, too hard to keep track of the presets if I tried and honestly the distortions and overdrives leave me uninspired. Individual pedals sound way better to my ears. I don't find much use for anything much more then a good chorus, delay and a couple overdrive pedals. The co-guitarist in the cover band does fine with an old digitech pedal.

AT the end of the day for recording, rather then spring 400-500 on a pedalboard, for my setup, I would just as soon pick up Amplitube then echoboy for a plugin.

To clarify for me, for recording, Amplitube and Soundtoys plugs.

For gigging, Pedal chain" Fulltone OCD. Trex Crunchy Frog, Boss Ce -5 for chorus ( I think that number is right) and Boss DD-3 for delays.

I use Guitar Rig a lot in recording. Like any plug-in, a lot depends on what you get used to and learning your own ways to tweak it.

It sounds great and it's very convenient on the gig. I use a POD X3Live which is way more flexible, better sounding, more presets, BUT the pedalboard is too long to fit most gig bags. I'll probably look into the POD HD500X when it's time to replace it, but I'm also building a minimalist analog/hybrid stompbox pedalboard. Credit forum member Bruce Brown for turning me on to Rockett pedals.
