File saving issue in Logic

I'm in the process of rebuilding my system drive. My old system drive which has legacy files dating back to 2001 is just all junked up. So I've installed a new SSD drive in the same computer and am starting from scratch. But when I'm working on Logic projects I sometimes get this message.
"The file could not be saved because the file does not exist" What the heck does that mean?
Thanks,
Jon

Jon, I'm going to guess and say that when you changed drives, that Logic still has the old, perhaps non-existent location in the
audio bin [media>bin]
I'm guessing you could either change each and every file to it's new location, or if it's possible, create the old path in the new system, and put all the files in that location. That's if, say a large number were in one location.
It might be possible that it's just as easy to place all of your project files in one location, and use that as a default search location, then when you get an error and it asks to locate the file it can do so very quickly. I don't use a mac or logic, so am unsure of the specifics.

I've received that error in the past, trying to remember what it was. It had to do with Logic not finding the disk or directory where the file came from. I think it happens sometimes when you are renaming a file. Can't quite remember. Totally agree with putting all of your projects in one location, properly organized, and then backup up that disk.

This is what I've figured out so far. I write a lot of music for games, so I have a folder called Games which is on a 3rd hard drive where I store all my Logic songs. I've been using the Games folder for about 4 years. Thanks to the help of David at Logic Pro Help I tried saving the Logic file to a new folder rather than the old Games folder and for some reason that worked. So I'm just taking the easy way and storing to the new folder. I don't understand it but at least I'm working again. Thanks for the input!

This is what likely happened or similar;
C: old system drive
D: old game files
after re-installing system on new ssd drive
C: new ssd system drive
D: old system drive
E: old game files
