Macbook SSD HD upgrade - kudos!

In my studio I use a 2013 Macbook Air with a 256GB SSD internal drive. It has been filling up as I add libraries (some do not give you the ability to change installation location). I ordered an upgrade replacement kit from MacSales, and the process was a breeze. I spent the extra $50 for the tool kit, totally worth it to have the exact tools you need. And, the kit comes with an Envoy Pro cast aluminum case so that your former internal SSD can be used as an external SSD drive. Nice!
If you are at 80% capacity (or higher) on your internal drive you should consider an upgrade. Very easy installation. Just make sure you take a full backup via Time Machine. After formatting the new drive using the Disk Tools on reboot (hold down opt-cmd-R at startup), you are prompted for the source of your data. Select Time Machine, then the most recent backup. My 256GB drive took about 40 minutes to transfer while directly connected. You can also do it over Wifi but it will take longer.
