Hi, guys,
I am having trouble loading a project that has several VST instruments, with various effects applied. It was working fine, but after closing it, it wouldn't reopen.
Any suggestions would be great.
Thank you,
Using Cubase 8.5, Kontakt 5.
computer: Intel(R) Core (TM) i7-3770 CPU, 3.40 GHz, 16GB RAM, 64 bit operating system
Windows 7

Not a Cubase user myself.
Could you start a new project and import the tracks one at a time?

Maybe it's just taking a long time. Does it give an error message?

Hey Anjj!
I also work in Cubase Pro
I used to have that problem 3 years ago with two different free VST's that seemed to be glitchy at best
Seems that they locked everything up that i added them to (One was an Exciter and the other a Chopper)
Going back to an earlier saved version prior to adding those VST's was the only way I had to rescue the projects
Does that make sense?

1. Reboot your computer and try loading
2. Try loading a backup project, just rename the backup to "songname".cpr
3. If you have any project elements on external HD's, make sure they are functioning properly.
4. Do a system restore.
Nothing more frustrating than a project not opening up.
Good luck,
Marc
