Back in the saddle!

Ok, so if I talked with any of you at the Rally, I was one of the guys who hadn't recorded anything since ADAT. I also wasn't the engineer so I have some learning to do.
Fast forward to Black Friday and my brother and I both got a recording kit through GC with a Mac, GB, Protools, and Live, interface, etc.
Work keeps me busy so I hadn't got around to starting anything yet. Well, had today off so even though feeling under the weather, got some tracks laid down to learn and experiment with.
Tried GB first. WOW! Didn't think it could be so easy! I am excited to work with all the programs but to get some tracks down with minimal hassle has really motivated me to push on!!!!
If anyone out there is like me and a "2nd timer" trying to get back to making music, please just pick something and jump in! Let's do this!!!
