Real Country

For whatever reason, this was not a huge "HIT" for Blake Shelton; but the tones, sound, and production of this song about
Miranda Lambert's dog... is doggone perfect Country, IMHO. If only Real Country would make a comeback...

It's beginning to look like the public is way ahead of radio when it comes to new country music; this is in Spotify's Top Ten, but I haven't heard it on radio. Yet.

IMHO, that song sounds more like Southern Rock, reminiscent of The Allman Brothers - much more so than George Strait or Alan Jackson.

You heard right. For kids whose parents grew up listening to Hank Jr, that's what sounds country to THEM.
