hello Tom, firstly, you can automate any effect or plugin within a daw. as you turn a knob or move a fader, it basically records
your actions.

Maybe the best plugin for realistic voice changes is probably Flux trax v3

Hi, I began using Reaper just after Christmas.
I can only play around with it for about an hour or so after work.
I've come a long way. It took awhile for the new technology to take hold,
but, now I'm at a point where I can record and edit my music.
There are videos available for all things Reaper.
I downloaded the 30 day option and experimented.
When I felt that it was something I could handle, I paid for the program and continued forward.
I should be uploading some of my pieces soon.
The best thing about DAWs...Grand Piano Vst.
