Do Waves plug-ins require hardware security such as ilok, or some other?

They do require an ilok but that might be changing soon. Better google.

Yeah Waves V10 doesn't require an ilk or so it seems. It looks like another upgrade/update is on the cards for me.
Edit. I'm still working out whether my plugins are version 9 or 10.
Re Edit; Version 9 plugins still work okay on Waves Central Version 10.0.0.3. For a minute I thought it was a case of an enforced costly update but it;s not.... relax....
