Hello again
I need a recommended avid interface. Eleven rack is going out and I wanted that bc I'm a guitarist
Only choices I have are mbox3. Mboxpro3.and duet and quartet but quartet is expensive.
Which would serve my guitar needs
Thanks again

In the current generation of Pro tools (when they aren't using the mbox as a sort of ridiculously sized dongle) you can use just about anything (mbox or not) and it still works fine with the eleven rack plugins. I think maybe the main difference is going to be latency if you want to record/monitor with those plugins or someone else's stomp box /amp emulations. If that fits, you might ask if it supports type C USB 3 or thunderbolt, and look at what the round trip latency numbers for each of the interfaces would be. I play terrible listening to any significant delay.
For an acoustic or vocals you might like the sound of certain pre's better. If so I don't think the mbox would ever be your first choice though I think its okay. The Apigee Duet maybe? JMO though. I do often record an acoustic with a stereo pair and an LDC - so you could make a cause for the QUAD. But you probably have friends to record with occasionally, and I personally bought a Focusrite 18i20 which in my opinion was a whole lot more capability for less money. The Gen 3 latency is like 1ms or so, and enough inputs and monitors that I never have to think about who's coming over. Just my opinion though.
