FX for French Café Listing

Hi All. I've finished the tracks that I want to submit this Sunday for the Parisian Café listing and would like to hear some of your thoughts on the mixing perspective.

Should I put the VI's in room ambience, with no reverb thinking that if I'm sitting in an intimate café there's not going to be a lot of space, or add a little plate or small hall to the room ambience. I am panning the four pieces L to R as if I'm looking at them from @ 20 feet away. Ac. Gtr -35 L, Upright Pno -20 L, Upright bass +20 R, and Ac. Gtr +35 R. I think it sounds pretty realistic, but...

Thoughts? Suggestions? Have any of you had experience and success submitting tracks like this?

Any and all thoughts are appreciated.

Charlie

If it helps glue the instrumeents together an give them cohesion then I would say yes so long as it's tastefully done. Don't neglect to EQ your reverb return, they usually benfit from having some low end rolled off .
