Limiting amounts on masters creating block bar audio waves forms.

Hi -
I was wondering about limiting on tracks for sync. Highly limited and compressed tracks give that modern radio "in your face" sound but creates static block bar audio waves. Even with sectional instrumentation stripe downs, etc. Is that still frowned upon by sync agents and libraries? Should I pull back on the limiting and bus compression to avoid " the block"?
Thanx
