I have not had much luck finding a good acoustic grand sound on my digital keyboards. Can anyone suggest some reasonably priced plug-in for PT. I am using 7.4. Thank you.

If you upgrade to version 8 of PT, it comes with "Mini Grand". It sounds good to my ears... Here's some info:

Synthogy Ivory is very popular; there are also good options for any number of samplers; which sampler do you prefer?

+1 on mini grand. I have it set up next to reason pianos in my instrumentals template in PT8, and find myself using mini grand more often than not because it's really simple. something like 8 "brightness" presets from atmospheric (think eno music for airports, off in the distance) to dance (like early rave, all attack), and somewhere in there is usually the piano i'm hearing for the track.

I'm not a PT user but if you have a sampler plug in I think most here would agree the Sampletekk piano samples are the best deal going.

I would agree - Sampletekk pianos are quickly becoming my favorite go to pianos.

I've got Ivory and the Mini-Grand. I've found that lately, I use the Mini-Grand when I'm composing my track, but when it comes time to mix down, I load up Ivory and use it for the final composition. But I've also got tracks where I keep the Mini-Grand in. It really depends on the song. But either of those work well. If you Ivory, it's a bit of a resource hog, which is why I tend to wait until I'm done composing before using it.
