I've ben considering it. But the hotels are sooo expensive especially if you have to pay to park. The verdict is not in yet though.Christi

I'd camp in the Wal*Mart lot, if I could afford the gas to drive there...

My biggest highlight from the AES show:Meeting Alan Sides of Ocean Way fame and having him demo his speakers at the GC Pro booth on the show floor. The speakers stand over 6 feet tall and have a low bass cabinet, a mid bass cabinet, a mid range horn and a high frequency horn. They are powered by 1200 watts for the low end and 600 watts for the mids up to 125 watts for the highs. I've never heard such good sounding speakers. I've never liked the sound of horns but these things don't sound like horns at all. The mids were amazingly smooth and clear, not like speakers at all, just like, well, music. He played a cut of some smooth jazz sounding stuff and there was a bell tree sound in the beginning that just gave me chills is sounded so real. You could walk almost behind the speakers and they still sounded like you were in front of them. Frequency response is down to around 10HZ up well above 40K Hz. AMAZING!!No I didn't buy them, Dave!!They will deliver them and set them up, amps and all electronics included for only $38,000.Yummy.Mazz
