I have had a few people point out that my drum sounds are a bity synthy. Sometimes a LOT synthy.I am using EZ Drummer and the included samples. Perhaps I am doing something wrong, or maybe the samples just aren't up to snuff.Anyway, I am considering sending a track or two to drumsforyou dot com.Have you used a similar service, and what did you think of the experience, if so?Thanks in advance, and thanks to all for allowing a newbie like me to feel right at home here!

Yup, my best buddy wanted "real" drums on his last demo, and his engineer somehow sent an mp3 of the track to a fine drummer.I'm not sure how they "sync it up," but I believe the drummer sent back a Wav file that was added to the recording.So as Steve says, it CAN be done, and done well.Good Luck,Ern

The song in question is a blues rock tune about 4 minutes long. My budget, as usual with us types, is rather scant, but perhaps we can work out a mutually agreeable figure.Being a one man show is tough, but the net has made it easier.A couple real instruments may be enough to get this thing in shape.Best wishes!

Hey Flood, i must say I'm surprised that your EZ drummer sounds synthy, I use it all the time in my productions and I'm a pro drummer. I tend to find that if you write your own grooves it doesn't sound as good, but the ez drummer groove files are excellent. The fills are'nt very musical though.

But the actual "sound" of the kits are pretty darn good IMO.BTW you can hire Chet McCracken (Doobie Bros., Joe Walsh, etc.) to do an online session & I think it's pretty competitive with the other online drummers. look here http://www.chetmccracken.com/
