Does anyone out there use a Yamaha Motif ES? I've had mine for a couple of years, and love it, but there is one function I've never been able to figure out and make work properly: "create glide"I've been all over motifator.com's forums, and there are several threads on the topic there, but none of their advice has been too helpful. Thanks in advance for the help!Peace,Don

Yeah... thanks LOL I'm familiar with the manual. And of course it's also available in pattern job mode.Perhaps I should make myself clearer. What I'm looking for is some practical advice on how to make the function work musically. You specify a range of notes, and then specify (if i remember correctly) a glide rate. But those 'rate' numbers give me no reference point, ie, measure beat clock etc. I have played with it some, and never get anything that sounds close to a smooth musical glide from one note to another.

I'm not sure what you are trying to create but I think you would have to sculpt the sound you are looking for using the tone generator parameters such as the envelope generator parameters.

No, I'm talking specifically about the glide function, whereby notes are replaced by pitch bend data: song/pattern job mode, create glide.
