Keyboard stand

I have a very sturdy keyboard stand, proline, z-shape. I have an 88 keys Korg TR. The first stand I bought was a table-kind one supposed to be wonderful, it lasted about 4 days. Now I want to buy a two tier stand for the Korg and a 61 keys Yamaha. Anyone can give me a hand about which one to buy or not?

If you don't have to move around a lot, this one is good, I use it myself, built like a tank:http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/ ... u=450389If you need to move for gigging, this might be a possibility:http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/ ... ku=450339I use one of these for my 88 Key Controller which weighs about 75 pounds but it never moves (it's not two tier but good for studio use, IMO):http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/ ... 450384Good luck!!Mazz

I've been gigging live for about twenty years and I've gone through many stands, but still have my first one and use it today: The Ultimate AX48B. It's not in the prettiest condition, but this sucker will last you forever IMOhttp://www.ultimatesupport.com/s.nl/sc.14/category.44/.fLarry

Hum, Larry: I have a problem with the shape of that stand. I do not doubt that is very sturdy, but I have an unusual problem: when I'm working my two dogs insist on laying down under the keyboard. Several times I pressed a tail instead of a pedal, and I can see that stand tipping over!

Nick, that thing is beautiful!! I do a lot of pencil writing and I've never found anything that will allow both paper and MIDI work at the same time!! It would also force me to get rid of my giant studio desk that I don't really need anymore (and takes up half the room!)Great idea!!Mazz
