Has anyone upgraded to Leopard yet? I understand it's a 64 bit OS. How has it worked with your 32 bit apps? Specifically, are you now able to access more than 2G per application?I'm leery of upgrading because I can't have any downtime (and I don't have time to do it right now anyway!), but I'd like to hear how it went for those brave souls that took the plunge!Tips, Tricks? My office runs on iMacs with Paralells to run Windows as a virtual machine in the background. We upgraded to Leopard about a month and half ago and everything has been running smooth. However, keep in mind that the office runs mostly business accounting and tax programs. I loaded Cubase on Friday and it was nice and friendly. So now Cubase is on the laptop PC and the iMac. I am going to test the PC version of Wavelab Essentials in the Paralells side of the iMac this week. I don't know that that is helpful, just that I took the plunge and it was an easy transition... I have had no problems with Leopard, I am running Logic 8 and all is smooth sailing. Logic is still 32 bit but it is 64 where it is needed (whatever that means). Logic can access 4 gigs of ram as a 32 bit app but with version 8 the EXS can now access more than 4 though you will have to check the docs to find out the details of this. Logic will eventually be a fully 64 bit app and I do not think it will be too long but as we all know Apple is pretty busy these days.

Won´t upgrade in the first 3-6 months I guess. If it ain´t broken; don´t fix it has been my motto for a very long time when it comes to updating OS.Running OSX, and It´s so stable atm that I really don´t dare to touch it. Not to mention all the plug-ins I will have to make sure runs fine.

This is excellent advice Wizz, just for reference I still have my G5 with Tiger and Logic 7.2.3 which like you said is solid as a rock and I have been hesitant to touch it for the same reason (if it ain't broke). I am running Leopard on a new Intel machine and have Logic 8 on that machine so if I run into any problems I can always go to my back up machine. I am guessing that there are not many people who have 2 audio computers so Wizz's advice is very sound for someone with only one machine and plugins that may have not been updated yet.
