Help, my Mic stopped working....updated

Ok, now i have 2 questions.I have 3 Oktava Mics (2 MK-012 and 1 MKL-2500)They were bought at guitar center a number of years back (may have been Mars music before GC took them over) and GC was blowing them out as they were no longer carrying them.First question:How do I tell if they are "real". (Russian vs Chinese)I don't really care it they are authentic or not, as they have treated me very well (especially for the money)But here is my second question:Help! my MK 2500 has stopped working! The little light on the power supply still comes on, as does the little power light on the mic itself.I am getting zero output from the unit (no hum, snap, crackle or pop!)Not sure if it's the cable between power amp and mic (a crazy 7 pin cable) or the PA or the mic.Has anyone trouble shooted one of these before?Help me before i record vocals with my sm58 Rob-------- update------------I was able to confirm that all 3 mics are the original russian Oktavas.so now i just need to know why it stopped working!
