Mike,The only thing I hear is a slight metallic quality on the high end of the reverb when high notes are played, particularly on half step intervals. You might try rolling off some highs on your reverb, high frequencies in digital reverbs tend to make the ambience sound "effecty" instead of like natural ambience, which is what you're trying to do here.A rule of thumb I use sometimes on ambience is to turn it all the way off and then sneak it in until the sense of space can be felt but not enough to actually hear it as a separate "effect". Of course, this depends on the music, instrumentation, and so forth.Nice pieces!Mazz

Hi Mike,I don't hear any distortion through my crappy laptop headphone amplifier. I'll give these another listen at my studio later.Best Regards,Ern

For what it's worth, the chords hang on for a while and do not completely dissipate before the next. This is causing a little dissidence deep in the reverb (back end of the space, I'm not sure how to put it. From my perspective, it is not distortion. That said, I like to hear piano with a little tension to it. Nice piece of work.Al Franks

Hi Mike,I listened just now in my studio. Really pretty tunes! What piano did you use?I don't think the piano is distorting. Your input level on your reverb MIGHT be a little too hot --- maybe that's what you're hearing. It's only on the peak (loud) notes that I may hear a little "fur." I don't think it's any big deal at all, though.Could you post this without reverb just to make sure?Best Regards,Ern
