I don't suppose anyone knows of some good software for Mallet Percussion. I would rather pay a few hundred dollars for some good software than a few thousand for a good marimba! I know that some of the bundles include mallet percussion, but does any company have a package that specializes in mallets???

I think that you'll find a bunch of stuff if you Google using a few different terms. I tried it and got a bunch of stuff. The EW orchestra mallet percussion is designed to sound like it's sitting in the orchestra, it's nice and muted sounding, like it should coming from the back of an orchestra (compared to a close-miked library).Precisionsounds has a pretty eclectic collection of libraries and they have some mallet stuff in there.Google is your friend!Mazz

Are you looking for sounds or for a mallet controller?Art Vista Cool Vibes is a very good motor-on jazz vibes library. There are lots of good marimbas out there. I agree, the Eastwest one is very good if you want one for orchestra, i.e. it has hall reverb on it. SONiVOX's percussion is very nice:
