hi, i m looking for software combinations with the hardware also..presently i m using cubase sx and reason but i want to shift to logic and protools, can anyone help me out or suggest me what hardware should i use with them or what kind of combination i should use...

I thought I replied to this, but it appears the post disappeared.The answer is that if you want to run Pro Tools software, you have two hardware choices: Digidesign or M-Audio. You can use that hardware with other software, but the PT software requires that hardware.

humm - strange, I replied too and my post isn't anymore here...my reply was that the choice of sequencer is individual and you should more look after what's working for you to reach your goals instead of brand names etc. - very short version;)
