Taxi Tv_Suzan Koc Rocs!...

I just watched the video of tonight's taxi tv. One of the best if not the best episode I've seen! 
Perhaps one of the most important songwriting issues imho.
Suzan or Ms. Koc, articulated very well what makes lyrics weak and throwaway, the lack of emotional connection, lack of exposition (no character introduction), lack of continuity. As a songwriter, it's difficult, if not almost impossible to bear your naked soul without a shield.
It's an important issue for me, number one, because I struggle with bearing the whole truth when I am writing lyrics, and number two, I know I'm in the same boat as many of my peers on p-to-p. The disengagement seems to spring from what seems almost like deception when there are questions of what is going on and disguised through imagery.
