hitting my head against the wall on this fine weather. day...
Is this song too long? I'm interrupting my drummer and his track as I feel it's too long but can't figure where to cut it. Been chopping and swapping and can't come up with an easy fix.

But reactions? Does it work the way it is?

If it were mine to shorten I'd do (experiment with) this:
1) Start the vocal at :06 instead of extending the Intro to :16: there's 10 seconds gone,
no momentum lost; probably gained.
2) I'd cut out everything from 2:32-3:16... and go from the "end" of the section at 2:32, and jump right into the lift/change @ 3:17, letting the 4th time be the last repeat of your Chorus/Hook.
There's another 46 seconds cut without really 'losing' the movement through the song.
That gets you closer to 3:24 overall... not bad, imho.

To these old guy years, a 4th repeat of that Chorus part? Seems it could benefit from something 'more' each time it comes around... some build... instead of it just being pretty much the same menu each time.

Does that make sense? Trying to be helpful.

You know what? I went boogie boarding came back and the ending wrote itself. I just chopped he second half of the song off, give or take.
