Has anyone been involved in Hans Zimmer's master class?

Yes. I found it interesting and the community HUB is interesting as well.

I went through it.

It's more closely related to working directly in the film score industry. Hans gives a lot of good advice about work relationships in film and little quirks. Compositionally, he does not go into much detail, but he does go into stories of why he chose a certain music style for specific films he's done, etc.

Yes, I have!. I started in March of last year, but I haven't quite finished all the lessons. Those challenges they present, occasionally, are a lot of fun.

Absolutely, it's a great class to get you thinking, and realize what you are doing when making music for media productions.

Yes I completed the class Ron. I enjoyed it, but it left me thinking, how on earth do you get to meet the directors?

Writing music to picture must be great, but I have no clue how to get there. This is why I'm writing instrumental cues through Taxi. I'm new, so no forwards yet but I'm getting close I hope.

Writing instrumentals is a good start, getting forwards and placements. You can get work by having a body of work to show and reference. It all starts with having a good portfolio.
