My name is Jennifer, and I am a writer, musical composer, arranger, and soprano vocalist. A unique aspect of my artistry lies in composing and performing original countermelodies, which I weave into existing works to create fresh and inventive arrangements grounded in the source material.
I have a strong interest in working primarily with music from the public domain, as it allows for creative freedom without the need for permissions. While I am also open to contemporary projects, I am still familiarizing myself with the licensing process in that area.
My stylistic preferences include chorale works, classical music, opera, early rock 'n' roll (particularly the works of Elvis Presley), ancient Christian hymns, Catholic Latin liturgical music, and beloved musical classics from diverse global traditions. I especially enjoy crafting new lyrics and interpretations in various languages, bringing new life and originality to timeless works.
I am currently seeking opportunities to collaborate with fellow musicians.
