Really nice song. A textbook example of the type of heart-tugging story line that Nashville wants. I didn't realize that this song came from a Taxi member, but then Googled it and I see that Taxi had some write-ups about his successes.Cameron

Good song. Good title/hook line.

You can read his success story on the Taxi home page - I think the more important aspect of the story is that Taxi somehow helped him sign a staff deal in Nashville. His publisher then hooked him up with a pro writer on "I Loved Her First". He didn't actually write that song alone, submit it to Taxi and it got cut - he wrote good songs and Taxi helped him get to where he needed to go (a staff deal). To me that's more important than any one song getting forwarded through a listing, and he must have been already writing really good songs for the staff deal to happen, so kudos to Taxi for moving him on in his career.
