Really excited about registration....how early?

We will be getting in Wednesday evening, and want to know how early to get in line for the registration. REALLY want to get a one on one with mentor. Any thoughts from you vets?

Hello Deb.
My first year, I got in line around 9 am and was about the 10th person in line. I guess a lot depends on you. If you have one specific mentor you want to meet with, then get there early. If you just want any mentor, or have a number of choices, you can get there a bit later. But a lot of members, myself included, think the line is one of the best parts of the Rally. Most of my very best taxi friends were made in that first line.
Don't forget, there is also the drive by mentor sessions throughout the weekend.

Kayle when you say the drive-by mentor sessions are you referring to the Drivers Ed sessions?

no, not the classes that are throughout the day. The drive by sessions are by mentors that are available after hours on a first come first serve basis. You show up, wait in line and get a session

I agree, Deb. The best thing I did was sit in the line for 3 hours to sign up for a mentor.!!!
I made friends. We listened to one another's music. I plan to do that again.
