What I Took Away From the Rally

Hello all
I was able to say hello to Andy, finally meet Casey and Michael, and a few new friends as well.
I learned some craft skill stuff I expected to learn, but I took away something that I didn't expect...
I took away that in my heart of hearts and in my analytical mind, I can do this, and I don't have to stress about how long it takes. If I stick with a plan, and work it (almost) every day, eventually I will get there.
I also took away a change in my thoughts that I wish I hadn't taken the safe day job route all those years ago and how much farther along I would be with music by now. In reality what I took away is that by having a day gig all these years has enabled me to pursue my music so much more than if I'd chosen the starving artist road when it was placed before me.
So, to all of you members that mentor me, instructors that inspire me, and to Taxi that shows me what I must do to reach my life long dream, I thank you.
Be seeing you all around.
Peace!
