THANK YOU

Wow...
BIG Thanks to all you guys for showing up at my class and inspiring me. I hope something I talked about was helpful. It's always so cool to spend time exchanging music making tips and tricks with my Taxi family.
...and it was simply wonderful to hang with so many composers, songwriters and artists in my classroom. We somehow managed to squeeze in 70-plus people by sitting them up front in the expensive “floor seats.” A bunch had to settle for those cheap seats out in the hall… maybe they were the lucky ones
Hope I made sense and gave all y'all something useful to take back into your studios... Again, thanks for showing up! It's really all kind of a blur to me ... truth be told I think I was the one who was learning!

Thanks to you, Dean, for the inspiring and informative class (which I still managed to get a lot out of even from out in the hall!). It was also cool chatting with you in the book room. I read half your book on the plane home and it's making me even more eager to get back to work. It was a a real pleasure meeting you. Can't wait to catch you again next year.
Best,
Alex

Congratulations, Dean!
Your book is great, your award is well deserved, and your class was a highlight of the rally.
Thank you for your insight and encouragement.

I missed the class, but I started reading on my plane trip home. I LOVE this book!
I can't wait to digest it all and use it for reference in the future.
Very well done and Thank You Dean!

Great class Dean. In the photo it looks like I'm sleeping or checking my phone, or something. But I was taking notes!
Cheers

Thanks guys!
So cool hanging with you all. Although I must apologize to my good friend Kayle. After working all summer with a guitar player named Kyle - I think I called Kayle the "Kyle-name" a half-dozen times, even though we've known each other for years.
Sheesh... Early onset dementia I guess

Sorry I missed your class Dean, too big of a crowd to fight through! Plus, I had to cut out early for the panel I was on. Hopefully next year they'll put you in the Theatre or Grand Ballroom!

Really glad we got to spend some good time catching up Barry.
Hopefully, I'll make it down to Nashville before the next Rally! (actually, I've got to go to Memphis next summer - gonna try to swing over to NashVegas for a couple days on that trip)

I didn't think I was going to make it into this photo! I'm in the front row off to the left of the frame.
Great to meet you Dean, thanks for the class! I bought your book on Kindle and am reading now.
