The interview with Steve this morning at the Rally was truly inspiring. And I got an autographed copy of his book, too!

Very deserving of that Lifetime Achievement Award. He's accomplished about 3 lifetime's worth of hit songs, hit movies, move scores, and more. And remains an incredibly nice guy on top of that!

It was a very moving and inspirational experience for me with the award presentation then with Michael's questions and his answers and stories. He has a wonderful sense of humor and and it is so amazing what he has accomplished as a songwriter. Remarkable career. I so wanted an autographed book, but my 1 to 1 mentor session came up so I missed purchasing it I will pick one up asap. He was one of those folks, like Bert Berns (thanks for the movie Michael!) "stoking the star making machinery behind the popular song" (Joni Mitchell)

It was a fascinating and entertaining interview and I immediately bought the book (two, in fact).
