I'm coming this year! This will be my first rally (I've been a member just under a year).
My flight is booked but want to ask what hotels are people booking? and in which areas? Is the rally always held at the same venue?

I just booked my flight and Hotel- this will be my first year coming to the Rally. Funny, the Hotel guy got me the discount ($137/night), but didn't know what Taxi Road Rally was. He asked me if we race in real Taxis for the Rally
I kind of wish I was the kind of wiseass who could lead him on a bit in that line of thinking. "yeah, we strap jet engines to old Yellow Taxis and race out in Death Valley..."

Likewise - made Westin LAX room reservations (and it's still only June) - for my 4th RR.
In the wee morning hours, it's a pretty easy 2-hour drive.
