in years passed my goals have included a focus on songwriting craft, marketing, production, and the ballroom panels. the only goal i have this year is to get there early enough to get one of my top 5 mentor picks. i missed mentor sign up last year and really want to get some one on one time with someone.

My goal this year is to meet DUKE!!!!

My goal is to enjoy time with friends and cohorts, and check out workshops about how songs were mixed (I seem to have missed those the past two years).

Not to mention as much ukulele fun as possible.

My goal every year is to listen more than talk. Every year I fail miserably and come home hoarse. Maybe this year I'll get closer to achieving that goal!

One more goal: Get to bed before 4 am.

Oh forget it, when I thnk of something achievable I'll post it. In the meantime see you all there!!!

Hey Jeffrey - Looking forward to seeing you guys and hanging out again at Venice Beach or wherever after the Rally. And speaking of hanging out, I guess my goals are less ambitious this year and more social. Truth be told, I just need a vacation! So I plan to simply drift along aimlessly (okay, not really), play some music, attend as many cool Rally events as I can, see friends, and have fun. And if I'm not careful, I may just learn a few things too!

I can relate to Mazz's goal - ears on (though for a different reason probably; I'm new to this conference).

And so, since this is my first rally, I'll be spongin' mostly. Not bringing a guitar, just a wide open mind. If I had to state a concise goal it would be... to listen/learn as much as possible from both the industry people and the Taxi members who are having solid success. And have a bit of connect time with those whom I've already met.

Sleeping is somewhat optional, but smiling is not.

Really looking forward to returning to the Rally this year after a year off. I have come with various reasons and goals in the past, but this year my goal is to meet more collaborators, who like to write and are looking to shake things up with new writers and producers. Also to mingle with the peeps in the lobby bar- I have met so many fascinating people there and have even had friends from LA , who are not music industry ask if they come mingle with the Taxi folks. See you soon!

a) meet lots of people
b) hopefully have furthered my music career, or at least have some great ideas to do that
