I submitted my guest request and then my second guest request all by the deadline and confirmed it with Taxi.My question is, how does it work with guests at the rally? Do they need to register on Thursday night, or do they just show up when I come on the day(s). When inside, what do they do to get their 'guestpass', or are those given to me when I register. Can they go wherever they want, or do they always need to be by my side to get into various panels and discussions?Thanks, looking forward to tomorrow night!-Bobby Cressey

Hey Bobby,I'm new at this too, with bringing a guest, and it's just my second rally. My guest has been confirmed, and he's arriving on Friday. If I'm not mistaken, if they have a confirmed registration at the rally, they can check in anytime. He's gonna give me a phone call if he has any troubles. Have a great time!-Jeff

Hi Bobby,All guests will need to register just as the members do, but they don't have to register with you. As long as you've already sent their name to TAXI, they just need to show a photo ID (as do members). After that, guests are free to go to whatever panels and workshops they wish, with or without your company. A few privileges are only for members, however: private mentor sessions, mentor lunches, and submitting music to listening panels in the main ballroom. Also, although the main open mic is only for members (guests may accompany them), I believe there is also an alternate mic that is open to all. I've had different guests at every Rally I've attended (and I started off as a TAXI guest), but I nearly missed seeing my guest two years ago, as I didn't have a cell phone, and our paths didn't cross much!
